Try before you buy

Impetus offers a 14-day free trial with full functionality and no credit card required. Because you can fully evaluate Impetus with your keyboard, your DAW, and your workflow before spending anything, we encourage everyone to use the trial before purchasing.

Refunds

Because Impetus is a digital good delivered via download, purchases are generally non-refundable.

If you change your mind about your purchase and have not yet downloaded the app, we will happily issue a full refund upon request within 14 days of your purchase. If you purchase after using the free trial, this 14-day period runs from the date of your purchase, not from the start of your trial.

Refund requests made after downloading the app are handled on a case-by-case basis and are issued at our sole discretion. Refund requests, if any, must be made within 14 days of your original purchase. If you run into a genuine problem — such as a compatibility issue with your setup — please reach out; we want Impetus working for you, and we're reasonable people.

Purchases are processed by Freemius, Inc., our merchant of record. Approved refunds are issued through Freemius to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear on your statement.

After a refund

When a purchase is refunded, the associated license key is deactivated and the app will return to its unlicensed state.
